Candlelighters of Southwest Florida was established in 1983 to assist Families of Children with Cancer and other Childhood Blood Disorders. Today Candlelighters serve approximately 350 families in a five county area, providing support, education and advocacy to children with cancer and blood disorders as well as the professionals that care for them. The Candlelighters organization is a vital source of inspiration, emotional support, and assistance for families struggling with their child's diagnosis

To provide Support, Education and Assistance to Families of Children with Cancer, or Blood Disorders and the Professionals who Care for them.

Candlelighters of Southwest Florida, Inc. is a non-profit 501C3 charitable organization established to provide emotional, educational and practical assistance to children with cancer and blood disorders and their families.  All programs and services are provided at no cost to families.

A copy of the official registration and financial information may be obtained from the Division of Consumer Services by calling 1-800-HELP-FLA (1-800-435-7352) within the state.  Registration does not imply endorsement, approval or recommendation by the state.
